Education and Professional Experience

I completed my Master’s and Specialist degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling at the University of Florida in 2020. My clinical experiences include work with clients at various clinics and private practice settings in Gainesville, FL. I have additional training in exposure and response prevention (ERP) which I’ve used to help individuals experiencing with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and panic disorder. My greatest passion is supporting teens and young adults to navigate life transitions, relational conflict, grief and loss, identity exploration, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. My interest and expertise also includes working with the LGBTQ+ community, ethically non-monogamous individuals and couples, and people within the kink scene.

I view therapy as a collaborative effort between the client and the therapist where we both can be authentic with one another. Therapy is a journey down the path of your choosing and we embark on this together. I promote a warm, safe, and engaged space for you to explore your troubles. My counseling approach integrates humanistic, person-centered, and systemic perspectives. In our work together, you can expect to learn skills for your journey that will empower you to take risks and support you when you feel defeated.

Approach to Wellness

In my everyday life I try my best to embody the same practices I instill in clients. In order to navigate our chaotic works, I prioritize connecting with others and focus on intentional, mindful living. Spending time with my friends and family while playing Dungeons and Dragons is one of my favorite ways to connect with others. I like to think of myself as a Certified Nerd and I get a thrill whenever I get to learn something new. In my free time I love curling up with books and watching movies.
