I am originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and ecstatic to be a transplant Florida Gator! I completed my graduate training at the University of Central Arkansas where I acquired my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling and my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. While completing my doctoral internship at the University of North Florida Counseling Center in Jacksonville, I facilitated art therapy and interpersonal process groups to help clients better understand themselves and others. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Group Psychotherapy Association. I have worked with a diverse set of clients, varying in age, cultural background, and counseling goals. This has included supporting client’s in inpatient and outpatient settings, such as university counseling centers, hospital-based integrated care centers, and domestic abuse treatment centers. I specialize in working with college students, adults, and couples who are facing difficulties with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, sexuality and identity exploration. I am also experienced in working with both the ethical non-monogamous and kink communities.

Approach to Wellness
This life has so much to offer and I make it my personal mission to cultivate a sense of wellness and delight in my own day-to-day experience. For me, this means being intentional about how I approach both my work and personal life. Dedicating time for friends and family, movement, and gratitude is vital to my self-care. I enjoy staying active through classes at Orange Theory Fitness, cooking, and leisurely strolls with my rescue pups, Bambi and Roo. I enjoy beating my friends at card games, eating copious amounts of sushi, and sporting one of my many pairs of Minnie Mouse ears at Disney World..
