Professional Statement:
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. It has been my goal since embarking on this journey to help individuals, couples or families rediscover the resources within themselves in order to live more satisfying and fulfilling lives.

As an integrative therapist, I approach therapy from a holistic, solution-focused perspective. My goal is to offer emotional support alongside practical feedback in order to help individuals address their current life challenges and/or longstanding mental health issues. It is my intention to help clients resolve long standing concerns and personal challenges in order that they can live more enriching and meaningful lives.
I strive to create a safe, compassionate environment where you feel comfortable and at ease sharing anything that may be relevant to your current experience. My intention is that our time together is useful and beneficial as well as therapeutic. Using a variety of mind and body based techniques and therapeutic methods, I seek to tailor treatment to each individual client depending on their personal situation. Together we develop a plan to move into psychological, emotional and spiritual wellness as is relevant.

Approach to Wellness:
In my spare time, I enjoy playing board games with my children as well as hanging out with family and friends. You may see me out on a run or swimming in the ocean. I love taking walks in nature or enjoying local happenings in Gainesville. I am also an avid meditator and enjoy listening to music (yes, Taylor Swift’s concert changed my life!).
