Self Help resources can be a wonderful supplemental support as you prepare for your first appointment and to enhance your growth between sessions. We offer a variety of wellness videos created to support your health on our Youtube Channel. Each includes specific tips for you to practice to improve your mental health. We also provide resources for you to download at our Free page.
When to Seek Support
- You feel stuck or tired of suffering
- When you or someone who loves you says you are not your usual self
- When someone who loves you, or whose opinion you respect, says you should
- When what you are doing is not working and you do not know what to do next
- When symptoms (e.g. worry, sadness, stress, low motivation) are interfering with your life
- When you are starting to feel like a danger to yourself or others
- When you feel misunderstood
- When you are experiencing a life-changing transition
- When your relationships feel unsatisfactory and you want to improve them
- When you feel out of control, like you’re on autopilot, not knowing where you are going or why
- When you are confused about your identity in terms of gender, culture, religion, sexual orientation
Self help is not a replacement for therapy but we hope you find the same encouragement and help as we have as you explore some of the Sage Wellness team’s favorite resources below.
