Education and Professional Experience
My professional background may be a little outside the traditional healthcare path, but throughout my career, I have always been drawn to work centered around people, care, creativity, and connection. Before joining Sage Wellness, I spent several years working in childcare, recreation, and education, as well as in theatre and film as a wardrobe professional and historical interpreter.
Much of my work has involved building trust and helping people feel comfortable, safe, and heard. Whether working with children, supporting the public through educational experiences, or working closely with actors in the often personal and fast-paced environment of wardrobe, I have always believed that the way we care for and show up for others matters.
Approach to Wellness
My approach to wellness is rooted in balance. I believe wellness is not about constantly striving to do more, but about making space for rest, joy, connection, and the things that make us feel like ourselves. For me, that includes spending time with the people I love, traveling, exploring history, sewing and creating, and finding opportunities to learn and be creative.
I also deeply believe in the importance of nurturing our mental and emotional well-being. Therapy has been an incredibly meaningful part of my own life and helped me during a time when I needed support the most. That experience strengthened my belief that asking for help is a sign of strength and that everyone deserves access to spaces where they feel supported, understood, and cared for.
I am excited to bring my unique background and perspective to Sage Wellness and to be part of creating a warm and welcoming experience for every client who walks through our doors.
